Way back in 2008 a couple of Coventry bands were invited to play at the Bar Fly in Birminghams Digbeth area. The Pockets were ons stage just before The Satin Dolls (also from Coventry) and between them both performed blistering sets’ each with their own mixture of rock and raw enthusiasm. The Pockets at that time were Daz and Andrew Ferris, Kirk Savage and Francis O’Sullivan. The Barfly closed in 2010. I am not sure what replaced it
